Ever since Kiko Milano was founded in the year 1997 in Milan, it has enjoyed a cult-like following not only in Italy but around the world.
This Italian brand houses a variety of high-quality makeup, skincare products and beauty accessories.
Some people even say Kiko Milano is the M.A.C. of Italy because of its high end quality.
Kiko Milano first became available in UAE in the second half of 2016.
I was living in India at that time and there it became available in the year 2017. I’d been coveting it ever since I saw it on an online site but since I wasn’t into makeup those days (after my daughter was born), I didn’t buy it.
But when I visited Dubai in 2018, I couldn’t resist buying my first ever Kiko product, a beautiful orange-coloured blush.
Few days back, I visited Kiko Milano store in Ajman City Centre. I wasn’t planning to buy anything. Just a quick browse and I’m out. But the first thing I saw, when I got there, was this beautiful selection of its new Holiday Gems Makeup.
I swatched their new Infinite Sparkle Eyeshadows which are available in 4 shimmery shades:
Ingredients: Calcium Titanium Borosilicate, Cetearyl Ethylhexanoate, Glycerin, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Squalane, Octyldodecyl Stearoyl Stearate, Mica, Polysorbate 20, Caprylyl Glycol, Ethylhexylglycerin, 1,2-hexanediol, Chondrus crispus (carrageenan), Xanthan gum, Pentaerythrityl tetra-di-t-butyl hydroxyhydrocinnamate, Tin Oxide, Ci 77891 (Titanium dioxide), Ci 77491-Ci 77492-Ci 77499 (Iron oxides)
1. Champagne Diamond (a light gold colour with fine shimmer)
2. Coral Symphony (a light pinkish-gold colour with very fine shimmer)
3. Bordeaux Garnet (a copper colour with very fine shimmer)
4. Dazzling Sapphire (a navy colour with fine blue shimmer)
I was awestruck by their beautiful shimmery colours and how effortlessly they glided on my hand when I swatched them.
They are bright, beautiful, gleaming and richly pigmented metallic eyeshadows which can be used wet and dry.
For intense look they are to be applied by fingers and for an even more vibrant look you need to use them wet.
Priced at AED 95 each, they are way too expensive for me but I’d appreciate their beauty regardless.
If they are in your budget, do have a look.
P.S. I did buy their Lost in Amalfi Eye Marker Duo, Smart Charge Drops in Energising effect booster serum and Smart colour eye pencil. I’ll share the reviews and swatches some time later.
Till next time,
